We discovered New River Café & Bakery while exploring Fort Lauderdale, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. In fact, we visited three times in a single day! David assisted us with our first order and recommended a delicious tiramisu served in a small cup. It was absolutely amazing rich, flavorful, and one of the best desserts we’ve had. Later, my mother ordered the prosciutto and brie sandwich, and it was just as impressive. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delicious. On our second visit, Erica took great care of us and provided the same warm, friendly, and attentive service. The entire staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Excellent food, outstanding desserts, and exceptional customer service. We highly recommend New River Café & Bakery and will definitely be back the next time we’re in Fort Lauderdale!

We held my daughter’s Baby Sprinkle Bubbles & Buttercream Brunch at The New River Café & Bakery and had a wonderful experience! Sabrina was amazing as our cake decorating instructor, the food was superb and the service was perfect. Sabrina (and her staff) went above and beyond in their efforts to make our vision come to fruition, and we couldn’t have been happier with how spectacular everything looked when we walked through the door. It was a beautiful, scrumptious, fun, and unique way to celebrate a very special occasion!

I ordered a custom cake for my baby shower and Kenya and her team did an amazing job!!! I told them my vision for my travel themed baby shower and the cake turned out better than expected :) not only was it beautiful but it was delicious as well!! Had several people comment on how good the cake tasted. Worth the price, great turnaround and communication. One layer was chocolate the other was vanilla, 10/10 overall. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a custom cake.

Such a cute location where you can catch the water taxi. Inside has plenty of seating to sit. There were many items to choose from, including items from the bakery. Customer service was fine- it is kind of a grab and go. Very reasonably priced. The brown cookie butter latte was delicious. The all American breakfast bun was so fulfilling and tasty, same with the ham & bacon quiche. The pastries were my least favorite. Scone was disappointing. The texture was almost sponge like and I didn’t get any of the blueberry taste. The chocolate croissant was OK but I wouldn’t get it again.

What an incredible experience we had in our Bubbles and buttercream class! Sabrina and her team took such great care of us (we held a Meet up for it). The savory treats, desserts and bubbly were wonderful. The details including name tags for each cake since we ordered different flavors were spot on. I can’t wait to do it again!!
